For our client in the Zurich region we are looking for a Financial Controller & Payroll Specialist 100% (m/w/d) .Ihr Einsatz:



Financial controlling:


  • Monitoring and analyzing HR financial activities, incl. budgeting and forecasting of personnel costs
  • Preparation of financial reports on payroll accounting for management
  • Supporting the annual budget process by reviewing historical data and financial analysis of payroll costs
  • Assisting with monthly and annual financial statements, ensuring correct recording and reconciliation of salary costs
  • Working with finance departments to ensure correct recording of payroll costs in the financial statements
  • Ensuring compliance with accounting principles and assisting with audits

Payroll accounting


  • Managing the entire payroll process, timely salary payments
  • Processing benefits, deductions and taxes according to regulations
  • Maintaining accurate records of all transactions
  • Prompt and professional resolution of employee payroll inquiries
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws and tax reporting
  • Coordinate with HR team on employee data

Operational excellence


  • Ensure implementation of HR specific controlling and payroll processes according to company guidelines
  • Identifying process improvements to promote efficiency in controlling and payroll

Your profile:


  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business administration, human resources or a similar field
  • Further training as a payroll specialist an advantage
  • Several years of professional experience in financial controlling and payroll accounting, ideally in the HR department or a comparable function
  • Very good knowledge in German and English
  • Sound knowledge of payroll systems and financial reporting

    Confident use of payroll software (ADP, Workday) and MS Excel
  • Knowledge of relevant labor laws and tax regulations
  • Analytical thinking 
  • Very good communication skills in dealing with employees and managers
  • Experience with ERPs (SAP, Oracle)
