We would like to talk to you about the opportunity to join our Maison as **Jewellery Expertise Manager**.

Within the Tradition department, your role will be to provide a comprehensive analysis and technical descriptions of the Cartier vintage pieces while making use of historical, technical and gemological knowledge and background. You will be responsible of the restoration supervision in collaboration with the direction and our experts.

 

**HOW WILL YOU MAKE AN IMPACT?**

 

**Cataloguing and Expertise**

* Create english technical descriptions (cataloguing) and conditions reports for the Tradition jewellery pieces
* Proofread cataloguing submitted by the cataloguer
* Work in close collaboration with the watch expert
* Contribute to Paris, London and New York archive information research, follow-up and administration
* Monitor SAP information check and correction, following cataloguing
* Precious metal control: CMP office and in-house compliance main jewellery expertise contact, post-analysis follow-up, compliance implementation and control
* Tradition jewellery pieces sourcing assistance: possible attendance at jewellery shows
* Contribute to the buying process with the director and the experts

 

**Tradition jewellery restoration supervision and follow-up**

* Jewellery restoration, stock and after-sales technical diagnostics: identify, dispatch and supervise all the restoration steps in close collaboration with the direction and team
* Ensure the quality control before/after restoration and pre-/post-commercial events in close collaboration with the jewellery restoration expert
* Prioritise and follow-up with the commercial division on available pieces, alterations or repairs needed
* Be the contact with suppliers and craftsmen involved in the Tradition jewellery pieces restoration process

 

**Team Management**

* Supervise and organize the team-s missions
* Support and develop the team

 

**Support in various Tradition department activities**

* Support in establishing documents : presentations, trainings
* Participate in the Tradition Expertise representation during Cartier high jewellery commercial events

 

**HOW WILL YOU EXPERIENCE SUCCESS WITH US?**

* You are graduated in Gemology
* You possess an extensive professional experience in the field: minimum 5 years in the vintage jewellery and timepiece sector. A previous cataloguing experience is required.
* You are organized and give a special attention to details.
* You have excellent inter-personal skills with a real interest in team management.
* You possess good analytical skills.
* You speak French and english fluently
