The Packaging and Point of Sales Materials planning manager is responsible of the worldwide stock availability and distribution, the quantities to produce for Packaging and POSM articles and the level of stocks in the global supply chain chain.
In this position you will work closely with purchasing, visual merchandising, suppliers and markets teams.

 

**Responsibilities:**
The position covers 3 main areas of responsibility:

* Packaging & POSM permanent planning
* POSM one shot coordination
* Supply chain transformation

 

**Packaging & POSM permanent planning:**
Packaging used during client purchase (such as hardboxes and certificates) and POSM permanent used in the boutiques (such as products displays, client gifts, sales accessories) are mandatory for improving the client experience and Cartier image.
You will manage this team whose responsibility is to:

* Pilot global stock level and stock quality, estimate future consumption, define worldwide target stock level and define the quantities to produce.
* Ensure stock availability, size the target stock of the local distribution centers, ensure the automatic replenishment through tools and processes.
* Manage operational procurement: place supplier orders, manage needed document, organize transport with carriers from suppliers to local warehouses.
* Define stock and cost budgets.

 

**POSM One-shot coordination : **
The POSM one shot concerns all the punctual animation in boutiques requiring decoration / presentation elements. The major challenges concerns on-time delivery and accurate quantities, as these articles have a very short lifecycle.
You will manage the team whose responsibility is to:

* Communicate, collect and challenge markets- needs per animation.
* Collaborate with the visual merchandising and purchasing departments during the launch of events.
* Define the flows and operating modes of each animation.
* Manage operational procurement: place supplier orders, exchange with the suppliers, manage needed documents, organize transport with carriers from suppliers to local warehouses.
* Choose modes of transport allowing delivery on time while limiting CO2 emissions and costs.

 

**Supply chain transformation: **
You will define the objectives and manage the transformation of the department in terms of process optimization, new tools development, CO2 emissions reduction and supply chain ways of working.

 

**Team management:**
You will manage a team of 12 people:

* Packaging planning and procurement : 4 people
* POSM permanent planning & procurement : 4 people
* POSM one shot coordination : 4 people.

 

**Your profile**

* Master's degree in engineering
* In-depth knowledge of supply chain
* 5+ years- experience in Supply Chain planning or 2+ years- experience in Supply Chain planning management.
* Rigorous reasoning and accuracy with numbers
* Strong interpersonal skills: ability to find consensus with various interlocutors
* Ability to work with complexity and support competing priorities. 
* Fluency in English
* Prior experience in management is a plus
* Knowledge in SAP, Power BI and Anaplan is a plus
