**Position Summary  **

 

The Nestlé Product Technology Centre Coffee (NPTC Coffee) is the leading R&D organization that discovers, develops and deploys coffee and beverage products and technologies for in-home and out-of-home consumption. It consists of units in Konolfingen (CH), Marysville (USA), Orbe (CH) and Singapore and provides new products and processes to all Nestlé markets worldwide.

As a talented individual joining our team, you will take on the role of **R&D Project Manager for Roast & Ground Coffee**. You will drive projects and initiatives aligned with Innovation & Renovation pipelines to foster business growth for our key brands (Nescafé Dolce Gusto, Starbucks Home, Blue Bottle Coffee) and delight consumers all around the world.

 

You will collaborate on a day to day with multidisciplinary teams (Marketing, Operational, Finance, Technical, Consumer & Sensory insight). In this role, you will have the opportunity to develop your expertise in Roast & Ground product and project management while gaining invaluable experience and contributing fresh perspectives to the team.
                        

**A Day in the Life of the R&D Project Manager**

 

* Deliver product(s)/process(es)/system(s)/solution(s) with defined quality at defined time and cost, fully embedded in organizational commitments 
* Contribute to the future commercial success of the business by considering the whole picture and NHW and CSV strategies 
* Effectively control scope changes through proactive and open communication with stakeholders 
* Understand the team structure and stakeholders, ensuring adequate resources and competence levels 
* Coach and facilitate project teams to enhance interaction and foster effective collaboration.
* Contribute to training initiatives in project management both within R&D and external communities.
* Create synergies through effective networking with relevant R&D units, business partners, markets, SBUs, Head Office, and external partners 
* Propose innovative ideas to contribute to business growth and propose activities to contribute to large company initiatives


**What will make you successful**

 

* Master-s degree in Food Science, Technology, or Engineering.
* Proven success in managing projects and delivering results.
* Experience in product development within an R&D environment is an advantage.
* Ability to make confident decisions and solve problems effectively.
* Ability to communicate effectively across functions and audiences.
* Capacity to work autonomously while delivering valuable expertise to projects and networks.
* Experience influencing commercial and technical teams, including SBUs, zones, and markets.
* Demonstrated contributions to the management, launch, and implementation of R&D projects.
* Fluency in English (written and spoken); French is a plus.
