## Job Description ##
* Develop, lead, and implement resource mobilization strategies.
* Create, maintain, and cultivate close working relationships with government staff, political decision-makers, and other stakeholders to educate them on relevant issues.
* Interact and collaborate with government counterparts, including attending events, briefings, and hearings, and preparing for market visits with executives.
* Work closely with consultants to prioritize and conduct market outreach, and jointly monitor and report on legislative and policy activities.
* Develop new and manage existing partnerships, coordinating with colleagues across the team and ensuring their successful continuation and completion.
* Initiate or manage grant agreements and renewals with donor governments, foundations, high net worth individuals, and corporations.
* Respond to donor requests in a timely manner and communicate issues to management and across the organization.
* Draft collateral materials, legislative analysis, position statements, talking points, letters, memos, speeches, and other materials necessary to convey positions and recommendations.
* Continue to build on the organization's role as a respected voice on relevant issues.
* Work closely with all relevant teams, including media and communications, to jointly build political will and foster support in selected markets.
* Conduct strategic assessments of issues and opportunities driving development and health policies and agendas in select markets and at the regional and global levels.
* Identify influential constituencies and institutions to promote increased funding and advocacy.
* Explore opportunities for partnerships and establish engagement strategies in cooperation with colleague.
* Respond to donor requests in a timely manner and communicate issues to the Head and across the organization.
## The Successful Applicant ##
**Academic:**
* Master's degree or equivalent in Business Administration, Economics, Government or Public Affairs, or equivalent professional experience.
**Work Experience:**
* Minimum 8 years of relevant experience, with management of donor portfolios required.
* Familiarity with political and technical governmental decision-making complexities.
* Good understanding of transformations impacting today's business, industry, and political environment, as well as international development work.
* Experience managing multiple projects within a fast-moving environment.
* Experience engaging with and influencing senior-level stakeholders.
* Ability to structure financial instruments and navigate complex funding mechanisms is a plus.

* Ability to work in a multicultural environment and establish working relationships with multiple teams.
* Ability to work independently, under pressure, demonstrating initiative and flexibility.
* Good understanding of the organization's strategic objectives or capability and willingness to acquire this knowledge quickly.
**Languages:**
* Excellent command of English with proven writing and editing skills.
* Developed command of another European language is highly desirable.
