Job Title: Application Engineer (H/F) - Airspace Safety Systems Engineer

Location:
Based in Geneva, with occasional travel to Zurich.

Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Application Engineer with expertise in safety-critical domains to support our radar display solution. The successful candidate will play a key role in software specification, testing, and documentation, ensuring compliance with mission-critical requirements. This position offers a challenging technical environment, requiring a high degree of rigor, autonomy, and commitment.

Responsibilities:

* Requirements Management:

* Create and maintain application documentation, including system and software-level requirements and associated test cases.
* Review and test deliverables against specifications, establishing robust test traceability.
* Testing & Quality Assurance:

* Develop and execute test plans, and prepare detailed test reports.
* Perform formal system tests, such as Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) and Site Acceptance Tests (SAT).
* Synchronize and update results in the Test Results Management tool.
* Issue Analysis:

* Analyze, document, and manage issues/bugs using tools like JIRA.
* Perform root cause analysis for defects/incidents.
* Support & Maintenance:

* Provide 3rd level maintenance support in collaboration with internal teams and customers.
* Participate in system enhancements and contribute to development activities as needed.

Technical Skills & Qualifications:

* Mandatory Requirements:

* A minimum of 5 years- experience in a safety-critical domain, preferably in air traffic management or similar environments with real-time and security requirements.
* Strong knowledge of requirements management and testing processes for mission-critical software.
* High analytical capacity to interpret end-user needs and translate them into actionable software requirements or test cases.
* Proven expertise with formal standards such as ED153, ED109, or ED12B/C.
* Proficiency in using tools such as IBM Rational DOORS or Siemens Polarion.
* Fluent in written and spoken English.
* Preferred Skills:

* Experience working in Agile or Scaled Agile environments.
* Knowledge of test automation frameworks and tools.
* Familiarity with ATSEP certification processes.
* Fluency in German or French is an asset.
