Description
Le Régent is seeking to appoint a boarding assistant to contribute to the smooth running of the boarding house and the supervision and care of our boarding students. This is a residential position from April to June 2025 with the possibility to work during the summer with Régent Camps. It would suit a recently qualified graduate student looking to take a break after her/his studies or who is considering the teaching profession in the future.
Founded in 2015, Le Régent is a dynamic and fast-growing Swiss boarding and day school with an international academic programme. Approximately 250 students from Switzerland and around the world are educated in a modern campus in the heart of the Valais Alps in the stunning winter and summer resort of Crans-Montana.
Le Régent is committed to character education and demanding educational principles. Class sizes are small, language options strong and most graduates speak at least two languages fluently. Le Régent follows a rigorous academic programme in English in preparation for the International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma Programme and for its own diploma, the Régent Graduation Diploma (RGD).
In addition to academics, we nurture each student’s unique talents through diverse extracurricular programmes, including sports, arts, music and mountain activities. Understanding who our students are today is paramount but equally important is empowering them to envision their future selves and their potential to impact the world around them positively. This shared commitment to student wellbeing and development lies at the heart of our mission.
Le Régent is an Eco-School, a CIS member, and an official examination centre for the IB Diploma Programme, DELF, SATs, IELTS and Edexcel IGCSEs.
The Spirit of Boarding at LE RÉGENT INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL
Le Régent believes excellent pastoral support for our students is at the heart of everything we do. Pastoral and Academic teams work hand in hand to support students’ wellbeing and development. Together, they cultivate a nurturing environment characterised by warmth, unwavering support, and encouragement. At Le Régent, we prioritise firmness over formality, trust over accountability, and personal responsibility over procedures. This approach fosters a strong sense of community, empowering our students to take ownership of their actions and decisions. This environment allows our students to thrive academically, socially and personally. Within this close-knit community, boarders are encouraged to explore their passions, develop their talents, and build lifelong connections with peers and educators.
