Description

Your tasks:

  • Manage study applications from SAKK research groups
  • Support investigators in developing and evaluating new study ideas (design, budget, accrual).
  • Represent the SAKK coordination center in research groups and manage study applications for internal evaluations
  • Lead and manage clinical trials in development, ensuring adherence to scope, quality, budget and timelines and perform regular risk assessments
  • Write and prepare international or national SAKK study protocols and review other associated clinical study documentation (study plans, guidelines and manuals, patient informed consents)
  • Manage and prepare ethical and regulatory submissions in collaboration with the SAKK Regulatory Affairs Unit
  • Ensure efficient and timely activation of studies in collaboration with the Clinical Operations Team
  • Be responsible for contract negotiations with external stakeholders
  • Serve as the central contact person for the investigators, sponsors and/or pharmaceutical companies, throughout the development phase
  • Author, revise and update SOPs, Work Instructions and other relevant documents

Who you are:

  • Medical or scientific degree (e.g. biology, biochemistry, or pharmacy)
  • Experience in the development of clinical trials
  • Knowledge of the regulatory environment, including current national and international legislation and guidelines
  • Customer-oriented mindset, combined with good networking skills
  • Proactive, team oriented and resilient, with assertiveness, self-motivation and focus on solutions
  • Strong organizational awareness and understanding of change management
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills in English, good proficiency in German is a plus
