The Finance organization (FDO) contains Global Operations, Q&R, ICSC, S&T Sites Services and the local finance organization of RDG/RES (Mannheim/Penzberg), RDA (Ludwigsburg), RDI (Rotkreuz) and RDO (Indianapolis).

For our finance team, we are looking for a motivated and ambitious personality who enjoys actively shaping finance processes together with the team and who will take on the following tasks.


You will support Roche to backfill Finance Expert dedicated to the ASPIRE project, ASPIRE is an enterprise-wide business transformation program that will harmonise all core end-to-end processes across the Roche enterprise and enable their execution from one standardised IT system template.

**The key responsibilities include:**

* You perform business controlling focus on Standard Manufacture Cost (SMC) and Inventory valuation & Product costing, drive process enhacement - 20%
* Be a part of 1 or more Process Enablement Team (PET), focusing on manufacture finance processes which may include SMC calculation, Process order management and inventory analysis, etc. - 20%
* Work closely with the respective process owners (POs) and team members to ensure reliable, compliant, and effective end to end processes for the global FDO organization - 20%
* Ensure compliance with ICFR, FGAR, and Dia guidelines - 10%
* Collaborate with colleagues across all regions to identify, assess, and implement harmonization and simplification opportunities - 10%
* Contribute innovative ideas, challenge boundaries, and be bold in bringing our Finance organization to the next level - 5%
* Participate in and/or lead relevant FDO Finance projects and initiatives - 5%
* Manage ad-hoc tasks, requests, and analyses from internal and external stakeholdres/business partners - 10%

**Who you are:**  

* University Degree in Finance or in a related field, MBA is a plus and at least 3+ years of experience in Finance, experience in manufacturing Finance area is strongly preferred
* Strong knowledge on Standard Manufacture Cost and Inventory valuation & Product costing
* Strong strategic, analytical, and problem solving skills
* Advanced skills with SAP and other financial tools, experience in digital and data analystics considerd a plus
* Solid accounting knowledge (IFRS)
* Strong stakeholder orientation and entpreneurial approach

Furthermore, you establish and are able to further build up a broad and strong network within Dia, Pharma and Group Finance. You possess very good knowledge, broad and proven experience in finance processes; good knowledge of the Diagnostics system landscape preferred. You have effective verbal and written communication skills in English, ability to speak German is a plus.
