Description

For our client, an international organization, we are looking for a Financial Controller on a permanent contract

Your responsibilities :



Primarily responsible for monitoring compliance with our client's financial regulations undertaking audit, control and review procedures on teams financial data as requested.



Compliance monitoring activity:

- autonomously analyze team submissions and verify consistency with financial regulations

- autonomously perform analysis on financial data (benchmarking, trend analysis, ratio analysis etc)

- support team leader in relationship with financial advisors and teams finance department

- cooperate with financial advisors in performing further ad-hoc analysis on team submissions

- support team leader in liaise with teams CFO for request of clarifications and follow-up on team submissions

- support team leader and financial advisors in case of investigations for cases of suspected breach of financial regulations.



Developing and mantaining financial regulations documentation framework up to date:

- support team leader in liaise with IT department and external consultant for the update of  submissions interfaces and other relevant IT tools

- support team leader in the development and subsequent maintenance of the documentation framework

- support team leader and other Dept. members in preparing and update guidance document, training and educational material for team CFOs

- support team leader and other Dept. members in preparing and update instructions on submissions to team CFOs

 

Your profile :



- Professional Accounting Qualification (Chartered Accountant or similar)

- Minimum 3 years experience in Audit

- International Accounting Standards knowledge (consolidation technique highly desirable)

- Management Accounts/Controlling skills

- Capability to undertake autonomously audit procedures

- English (advanced), French or Italian (a plus)

- Familiarity with IT tools (Excel/Powerpoint)

- Autonomy and commitment

- Team player
