**CONTEXT**
The Procurement function is a key enabler of our Maisons and Group overall performance. Beyond traditional procurement considerations such as compliance, cost, quality, and delivery time, Richemont is committed to integrating ethical, social, and environmental aspects into its purchasing strategy for products and services.
The Group Procurement Director is leading the development of a **global Procurement competency center**, serving our Maisons and Regions. This initiative aims to:
* Elevate Procurement to a Global Function: Establish a global approach to procurement, fostering collaboration and knowledge sharing across the Group.
* Support Maisons and Regions: Provide dedicated support and guidance to our Maisons and Regions in their procurement initiatives, including best practice sharing and knowledge transfer.
* Drive Continuous Transformation: Maximize efficiency and value-added through ongoing process optimization and innovation.
* Integrate Responsible Sourcing principles into all procurement activities: ensure ethical and sustainable practices throughout our supply chain both direct and indirect.
By evolving our Procurement function to a global, sustainable, and end-to-end organization, we will strengthen our ability to support the growth and success of our Maisons while upholding our commitment to responsible business practices.
The Group Procurement Director will report to the Group Director of Operations.
**HOW WILL YOU MAKE AN IMPACT?**
**PROCUREMENT STRATEGY & ORGANISATION EVOLUTION**
Under the leadership of the Group Procurement Director, this evolution will be implemented in two phases:
* Step 1: The Group Procurement Director-s first focus will be to further develop one competency centre at the service of the Maisons and the Regions with the objective to maximise efficiency and value-added. The director will have to structure the Group target organisation and responsibilities for indirect procurement worldwide.
* Step 2: Integrate Responsible Sourcing into the Procurement organisation.
This evolution will involve:
* Developing and managing the organizational structure necessary to collaborate, implement, and execute sourcing strategies that partner with business leaders at all levels to support Group goals and policy.
* Defining and sharing metrics to monitor the performance of the Procurement function (KPIs & Control).
* Providing methodology, tools, and expertise.
* Driving continuous improvement and implementing procurement best practices, including Environmental and Social aspects in the suppliers- network.
* Achieving saving target plans
The target organisation will rely on 3 pillars: Procurement Excellence, Indirect Category management and Responsible Sourcing.
**PROCUREMENT EXCELLENCE (DIRECT & INDIRECT)**
Objective: Establish a robust framework for both direct and indirect procurement, ensuring compliance, cost optimization, and efficient delivery.
* Oversee delivery of Procurement excellence initiatives across the group in collaboration with Maisons, Regions, Central Functions and key stakeholders.
* Define, develop and implement Procurement processes, tools and digital solutions at Group level.
* Work with Group Platforms to deliver best-in-class systems capabilities and optimize the end-to-end procurement process.
* Lead, coordinate and support procurement transversal activities and projects.
* Embed Responsible Sourcing processes into the end-to-end procurement process.
* Manage the data collection for the sustainability report part related to the supply chain.
**INDIRECT CATEGORY MANAGEMENT**
Objective: Develop a comprehensive category management strategy for indirect procurement, leveraging market insights and strategic sourcing to optimize value.
* Oversee global category management for all indirect categories.
* In partnership with the Maisons and the Regions, define, structure and formalise indirect category strategies and opportunities and optimise sourcing for all indirect categories across the Group.
* Partner with key stakeholders and play an instrumental role in the development of cross-entities collaboration.
* Support and ensure synergies for spend reduction.
* Apply the responsible sourcing framework and ensure risks are properly managed.
**RESPONSIBLE SOURCING (DIRECT & INDIRECT)**
Objective: Integrate Responsible Sourcing principles into all procurement activities, both direct and indirect, ensuring ethical and sustainable practices throughout our supply chain.
* Define and implement clear Responsible Sourcing processes based on the Legal and Group requirements and risk-based approach.
* Anticipate with Group Legal and Group Sustainability the integration of legal requirements in the Responsible Sourcing roadmap.
* Communicate and coach all people involved in the procurement process to implement rules (Maisons, Regions and Central).
* Control the rules implementation and follow the mitigation actions.
* Be the Single Point of Contact for all supply chains topics related to sustainability (including ESG Legal requirements)
* Manage the sustainability report part related to supply chains.
* Manage external relationships for all organisations related to Responsible Sourcing (RJC, LWG, etc.).
* Implement traceability in the supply chains.
**MANAGEMENT**
* Lead, develop and inspire a team of experienced professionals.
* Act as an ambassador for Indirect Procurement and Responsible Sourcing for the Group. Create and foster positive and productive relationships with stakeholders across the Maisons, the Regions and the Group.
* Create robust partnerships and animate global communities of Procurement professionals at Maison and Group level to accelerate the transformation/elevation of Procurement processes and best practices:
* Regional indirect procurement teams (hierarchically reporting to Regional CFO)
* Maison indirect procurement teams (hierarchically to Maison-s COO or CFO)
**HOW WILL YOU EXPERIENCE SUCCESS WITH US?**
* You are a senior procurement professional with 15+ years of experience and have deep knowledge of modern procurement practices in a complex international and matrix business.
* You have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and are capable of animating and influencing demanding stakeholders across the business to foster collaboration, share and implement best practices, and drive continuous improvement.
* You are service oriented, capable of bringing a strategic vision and hands-on contribution to achieve your goals.
* You have experience in leading and managing sourcing projects and supporting cross-functional internal organizations.
* You have experience in attending external and international working groups and organizations.
* You are fluent in English. French is a plus
