Python-React Full Stack Developer – Data Visualization
Location: Remote | Contracting role

Randstad Digital Switzerland is looking for a skilled Python-React Full Stack Developer to join an exciting project focused on data visualization. This role involves enhancing a Plotly-Dash prototype, improving user experience, and optimizing the application's performance. Your Responsibilities:

  • Enhance the existing Plotly-Dash prototype by implementing user sessions, a standalone database, and additional graphical elements.
  • Improve both UI and back-end features in alignment with project planning.
  • Review and optimize existing code to enhance performance, reliability, and user-friendliness.
  • Work closely with Data Scientists and domain experts to ensure seamless application functionality.
  • Support users and testers, providing bug fixes and continuous improvements.
  • Maintain clear documentation for future reference.
    Your Profile:
    • Proven experience as a Full Stack Developer.
    • Strong expertise in React and data visualization techniques (preferably Dash).
    • Proficiency in building, deploying, and securing Python APIs in cloud environments.
    • Experience with SQL and/or NoSQL databases, user management, and complex user sessions.
    • Knowledge of Azure for deploying web applications, databases, and secret management (preferred).
    • Background in a scientific environment is a plus (understanding of physical quantities, realistic proportions, and scientific concepts like energy, vitamins, ions, etc.).
      Technical Skills:
      • Python, REST API, Dash, React.js
      • (Plus) Experience with Django REST Framework or deep Azure expertise
