For our client, an international company based in Turgi, we are looking for a Senior Engineer R&D (m/f/d).

• Duration: 1 year (extension possible on yearly basis)
• Working Hours: 100%
  
  Your Responsibilities:
  • This role requires a strong background in engineering, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
  • Opportunity to contribute to the company's success with software development for Medium Voltage Drives
  • Work as an independent and reliable contributor in R&D projects with limited supervision
  • Perform various tasks in the assigned area of software development, from gathering requirements to, building concepts, designing, implementing, integrating, and testing
  • Understand and apply applicable processes, standards, guidelines, and requirements, including architectural and design constraints
  • Drive the achievement of assigned targets of quality, time, and scope, and raise and address risks
    
    Qualifications :
    • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, with a strong software background. A Master's degree is preferred.
    • Proven experience in research and development, preferably in a related industry within electrical engineering domain topics (communication protocols, protections, cooling systems, converter/machine control and models)
    • Knowledgeable in best-practice software development methods (Agile/Scrum, Continuous Integration-Continuous Development, Test-Driven Development, etc.)
    • Proficiency in C++; Python is a plus (for automation support)
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
    • Excellent communication and technical writing skills
    • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
