PMI is looking for an SME Electronics Specialist to help maintain and improve production and development equipment at the Manufacturing Development Center in Switzerland. Be part of the mission to deliver innovative alternatives to traditional cigarettes, playing a key role in optimizing and automating processes.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure compliance with PMI’s safety, health, and sustainability standards.
  
• Contribute to digital and automation projects.
  
• Collaborate with Engineering and Quality teams for new production lines.
  
• Develop and implement technical improvements on existing lines.
  
• Work with IT to set up servers, software, and security systems.
  
• Define optimal maintenance standards and manage software and hardware updates.
  
• Provide technical input for digital solutions and automation projects.
  
• Support the deployment of new digital solutions and manage equipment changes.
  
• Contribute to spare parts management and budget alignment.
  
• Offer suggestions to minimize losses and enhance maintenance strategies.
  

Profile:

• ES degree in automation or industrial systems.
  
• 2+ years of experience in industrial automation.
  
• Strong knowledge of Siemens PLC (S7, TIA Portal) and SCADA systems.
  
• Network infrastructure knowledge.
  
• Fluency in French and English.
  
• Team player with a passion for new technologies.
