In FY24, the Group Sustainability team continued to consolidate and integrate its non-financial reporting framework. Looking ahead, the rapidly evolving non-financial reporting landscape, driven by an increasing number of regulatory requirements, requires the implementation of robust reporting processes. In this context, the goal of the Sustainability Transformation Team is to oversee the Non-Financial Reporting Framework while supporting the continuous improvement of the Strategic Sustainability Plan and the performance management process.
**HOW WILL YOU MAKE AN IMPACT?**
Reporting to the Sustainability Transformation Director, this position will support the continuous improvement of the sustainability performance and reporting framework to drive change in our sustainability ecosystem of Maisons, functions and regions and to meet regulatory disclosure requirements.
This role will be responsible for the following responsibilities, including but not limited to:
* Support the sustainability transformation across Maisons, functions and regions, including the advancement of the Sustainability framework by facilitating performance management.
* Coordinate the periodical update of the Materiality Assessment, based on best practices and internationally recognised standards.
* Support the evolution towards a performance-driven sustainability strategy, structured around material priorities, and provide project management to track progress against targets.
* Partner with Functions and support periodical non-financial reporting requirements, including analysis on sustainability performance and risk management.
* Oversee the implementation of Non-Financial reporting standards to meet current and upcoming regulatory requirements (e.g. Swiss Reporting Obligation on non-financial matters; CSRD; EU Taxonomy; Swiss Ordinance on Climate Disclosure; CSDDD).
* Coordinate the implementation of the CSRD, including the completion of gap analysis and improvement plans definition.
* Contribute to ESG data management improvement, including through digitalization.
* Horizon scan for upcoming ESG reporting regulations and provide recommendations to inform future programs.
* Liaise with internal stakeholders to support Group functions, regions and maisons on sustainability performance management and reporting frameworks and standards.
* Change management by facilitating the Richemont Sustainability collaborative organization.
**HOW WILL YOU EXPERIENCE SUCCESS WITH US?**
* Change management and strategy
* Sustainability performance management and ESG reporting technical knowledge (e.g. GRI; SASB; TCFD; ESRS)
* Knowledge of sustainability practices, and applicable laws and regulations
* Excellent written communication skills
* Combination of hands on and strategic skills
* Ability to lead and manage multiple projects at once
* English and French critical languages
**Education & Experience**
* Master degree in relevant discipline (sustainability, engineering, business)
* Advanced training in sustainability management / reporting
* 8 to 10 years of experience in a corporate sustainability function, possibly in a consulting firm
* Relevant experience in designing and implementing sustainability performance management and reporting processes, including working with reporting frameworks and standards (e.g. GRI; SASB; ESRS)
* Track record of change management processes and demonstrated experience in working with multiple stakeholders to successfully execute complex projects
* Experience or strong interest in the luxury sector
**The ideal candidate will:**
* Have a strong understanding of sustainability topics and trends, having worked in international organizations
* Demonstrate excellent knowledge of sustainability performance management and reporting standards (e.g. GRI; ESRS) and frameworks
* Demonstrate results-oriented project management capabilities with excellent written and verbal communication style and ability to influence and lead cross-functional partnerships
* Experience of being a self-starter and comfortable in fast-paced environments
* Effective multitasker, problem solver and stakeholder manager
