**Teacher of Mathematics**
100% - 2-year contract - August 2025
**Responsibilities:**
* Deliver effective teaching and learning of Mathematics throughout the secondary school.
* Participate in the design, development, implementation, and review of the lower secondary, IGCSE, and IBDP Mathematics programs.
* Liaise with curriculum leaders to ensure effective curriculum delivery to specified classes, including resource selection and classroom management.
* Identify SEN (Special Educational Needs) students and work collaboratively to meet their needs.
* Lead projects and work independently when required.
* Promote the health and safety of assigned classes.
* Participate in professional development and contribute to regular staff training/meetings.
* Contribute to trips, excursions, field trips, and extracurricular activities.
* Enhance the professional standing of the teaching faculty.
* Promote positive relations between Mathematics and the wider community through cooperation, publications, competitions, etc.
**Qualifications and Skills:**
* Subject-related degree and PGCE (or equivalent).
* Proven track record of excellence in teaching with at least three years- experience, ideally in an international environment.
* Experience teaching IGCSE and IBDP Mathematics preferred; MYPS and/or A-Level experience is the minimum.
* Excellent communication skills and a team player.
* Ability to share a passion for teaching.
* Capable of managing a diverse and demanding workload.
* Ability to inspire students from mixed cultures and abilities by creating engaging and challenging learning opportunities for all.
* Ability to support student needs in both academic and pastoral matters.
* Clear criminal records.
