**Events Manager**
**Position summary**
The Events Manager is responsible for planning, organizing and executing events in line with our positioning, our values and level of excellence, across different target audience groups (Press, VIP-s, larger public).
This position involves developing the events concept, managing budgets and logistics, coordinating with internal and external vendors, and ensuring flawless execution.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in event management, strong organizational and communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environments.
**Main responsibilities**
**Event Planning and Strategy **
* Develop and execute the events concepts, objectives and strategies to align with the Foundation-s objectives
* Ensure that the needs are met, from brief to final execution
* Research, negotiate, and secure venues and vendors
* Come up with suggestions to enhance the success of the event
* Prepare budgets and ensure adherence
* Capture logistics and operational needs, and then ensure these needs are adequately planned and budgeted in advance
**Event Coordination and execution**
* Oversee all aspects of event logistics, including timelines, budgets, catering and transportation
* Supervise event set-up, troubleshoot issues, on-site execution and post-event wrap-up
**Stakeholder & Team Management **
* Recruit, train and manage event staff, contractors to ensure they understand their roles and responsibilities
* Negotiate contracts and manage relationships with vendors, suppliers and service providers to ensure timely delivery of high-quality services
* Delegate tasks effectively, ensuring that all stakeholders are aligned with the event-s goals and timelines
* Monitor the performance of all stakeholders during event, planning and execution, providing feedback and support to optimize efficiency
* Foster a culture of collaboration and communication among internal teams to ensure seamless event execution
* Act as the central point of contact for resolving any team-related challenges
**Required skills**
* Minimum 5 years- experience organizing large-scale events with VIP/high-end audiences
* Impeccable verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders
* Ability to mediate disputes and address concerns diplomatically
* Strong negotiation skills for vendor contracts and budget management
* Highly collaborative with a capacity of solving problems and result oriented
* Excellent organizational and project management skills and ability to meet deadlines
* Proven ability to inspire and lead teams in high-pressure environments
* Great multitasker and capable of simultaneously managing multiple projects with different deadlines
* Fluent in Italian and English, French would be an asset
